The Edge launches a new open source product at BPS Winter meeting

December 18th, 2006 — The Edge is launching a new open source product called BioRails at the British Pharmacological Society Winter meeting October 19th-21st. This product differs from traditional solutions in a number of ground breaking ways. BioRails is a web-based application making use of Web2.0 technology to deliver a rich user experience. BioRails flexible design means it can address the needs of all the biologists and pharmacologists working in research.  The Edge are lead sponsors of the BioRails project and will provide commercial support services for BioRails. BioRails is available in two versions, a free unsupported open source version and a commercially supported enterprise version with additional features.
