Modelling ExperimentsJune 8th 2006 Andrew Lemon* and Robert Shell presented a paper "Modelling experiments" discussing issues related to modelling multi-parameter experiments. We discussed how the Edge have leveraged the Teranode XDA platform and Chemaxon to model experiments from a variety of experimental protocols ranging from complex in vivo experiments in pre-clinical testing to process and combinatorial chemistry synthesis. Please contact us if you would like to understand more information. At the meeting a variety of papers were presented ranging from new products and solutions (implemented with Chemaxon technology) from vendors such as SciTegic, Inforsense, Prous, Synaptic Science. Other presentations included customer projects from companies such as Evotec, and BioVitrum along with academic research from CNRS and the University of Kentucky. Chemaxon presented a range of new product enhancements ranging from Markush structure handling to improvements in existing tools such as MarvinSpace and JChemCartridge. During the meeting delegates were encouraged to suggest and prioritise enhancements and new directions. The Edge were actively involved in the meeting providing feedback from our experience and suggestions for new enhancements and areas. * Contact Author.
