In this briefing we outline the key issue with current approaches to managing data across the discovery process, highlighting the fragility of current approaches to integration and the time trap for data extracted to documents without the necessary provenance to protect the value of the data.
Teranode have developed the VLX kernel which can be used to translate traditional application specific data into RDF information that stores the metadata for the scheme, process, provenance along with supporting annotation and linking of data.
